A One-Week Intensive Workshop

The 2 Fellows, May 2020 in Italy

Following the success of The 2 Fellows’ inaugural workshop, we are thrilled to say we’re going to be back in 2020!

Join two of the UK’s leading wedding & Portrait photographers; Paul Wilkinson FMPA & David Stanbury FBIPP, for a fantastic week to master your Social Photography skills. Get away from it all in this unique location and spend a week learning and loving photography.

The workshop runs from Monday 11th May to Friday 15th May at GraphiStudio’s amazing Castello Ceconi near Venice. The week is a hands-on intensive course covering everything about Portrait & Wedding photography. Learn how Paul & David see, shoot, get clients and run their businesses, take part in the print competition & have a 1:1 portfolio review.

The cost of this fantastic week is only £795 (early booking discount) excluding flights and accommodation. Flights in May are approximately £100 and accommodation is roughly E50-E75 per room B&B.

All transfers, lunch at the castle on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, dinner on Monday & Thursday and a trip to GraphiStudio factory are all included.

Following the success of the workshop in 2019, this course is already filling up fast!

"I have been on many courses over the last 10 years of my career, and this seminar was one of the best. Never have I seen training like it."
"Thank You so much Paul and Dave for the most incredible week. Anyone thinking of going on this workshop don’t think too long as it will change your outlook on looking for light, using sunlight and shadow creatively for your portraits, the whole business of weddings, selling, customer service & care and how to just be you! I now feeling inspired to move forward in my photography. "
"It’s been such a fantastic experience and an even better workshop. I’ve never been at a workshop where the delegates were so well looked after, we really were spoilt. If anyone hasn’t been to any of David’s or Paul’s workshops, I can highly recommend them. 🙂"
"It was an amazing week which has most definitely given James his mojo back."

Frequently Asked Questions

The maximum number of delegates is normally 12 so everyone gets plenty of time with Paul and Dave, as well as with the models.

No, of course, it’s up to you.  We will be hosting a photo walk in the city but if you’d prefer to meander through this incredible location at your leisure then you’re more than welcome!

You will need to be picked up at 10AM on Monday morning.  Our advice is to fly in on the Sunday night and stay in one of the airport hotels to guarantee you can be picked up as we will provide transport from the airport up to Graphistudio and then onwards to Castello Ceconi. Late arrivals will have to make their own way (about a two-hour drive in a taxi or rental car.)

Ideally, yes.  Although much editing is now done on iPads and other tablets, this is still not the norm for professional photography production. Throughout the week you will have opportunities to create and finish images so we highly recommend that you bring the relevant tools.

Sadly, there are only a handful of rooms at the castle and these are reserved for Graphistudio, the models and The 2 Fellows. There is a local hotel / B&B that we recommend and we will provide transport between there and the castle – about a 15 to 20 minute drive.

While prints are always the preferred medium for reviewing photography, this is clearly impractical when airline baggage is concerned. We recommend you bring your portfolio on a laptop or tablet for review.
